The national broadcaster of India Doordarshan’s regional center operating in vernacular language of the region which is Bangal, invited ISOC Kolkata to participate in the debate related to Data Security and the ways and means through which the normal internet user can keep their data protected. The Chapter Chair Anupam Agrawal participated in the debate which was aired live on DD Bangla Channel from 7-30 PM on 28th March, 2018. The use of apps and the increased usage pattern is definitely changing the social fabric was the key point mentioned in the debate. The user awareness has to be increased significantly for which ISOC Kolkata is working was mentioned.
