Roundtable – 6 Mar 2017 | State of Critical Internet Infrastructure in India

A series of roundtables with the local community is planned to bring in the local perspective on the State of critical Internet Infrastructure in India. While investments are being made In Internet Backbone infrastructure throughout the country through the National Optical Fiber Network program and National Knowledge Network, there is still a need to optimize traffic management on a peering or transit basis and start looking at local network performance holistically.

The roundtables are planned at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai & Cochin. The Kolkata Edition of Roundtable happened on 6th March, 2017.

The outcome of the roundtables will be perused in India Peering & Interconnection Forum being organized in 11-12th May 2017.
